June 20, 2022

Good morning MindSite News readers. Today is the celebration day for Juneteenth, the second year that this day acknowledging the end of slavery in the United States has been marked as a federal holiday.

In honor of the occasion, we are taking the day off and are not sending out a regular newsletter today. However, we do have something to offer. On Thursday last week, we organized a Juneteenth event – a MindSite News Live interview with the authors of a report by Hurdle Health on vicarious racism and mental health.

You can listen and watch that interview, which was broadcast on Facebook Live by going to our Facebook archive here (go to the 3:40 mark to get to the start of the content): https://www.facebook.com/mindsitenews/videos/5168646369883295

We’ll be back with MindSite News Daily tomorrow. Enjoy the day.

Best,

the MindSite News team
