Chris Woolston, M.S., who describes himself as a “recovering biologist,” writes for Nature, the Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Knowable, Afar, Quartz, and many other publications. He is based in Billings, Montana, and specializes in the intersection of biology, psychology and mental health. Nature, the Los Angeles Times, Knowable, and AFAR. He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in biology from Montana State University, Bozeman, and participated in the science writing program at UC Santa Cruz. He recently and he recently gave a TED Talk at the University at the University of Luxembourg about the pressures on young researchers.
