Mariela Santos-Muniz

Mariela Santos-Muñiz is a Puerto Rican freelance journalist usually covering Latine communities in the United States and Puerto Rico. Bilingual in English and Spanish, her work has appeared in Prism, Nylon, Metro PR, and more. Santos-Muñiz has also received several journalism fellowships to date, including a 2024-2025 HEAL Fellowship from the Solutions Journalism Network. She has an M.A. in International Relations and International Communications from Boston University.
